Meet Delia

Growing up in the foster care system, Delia didn't always feel special. There weren't many opportunities to visit a salon and have her hair properly taken care of, and this caused her to have issues with low self esteem. When Delia grew up and chose to become a beautician, she found that she enjoyed doing children's hair. Remembering how she felt as a child contributed to her decision to launch Sunshine's Hair Haven in 2021, a place where children living in the foster care system could go to feel pampered and loved.
